"Heartland Harvest"

I’m a farmer’s daughter and this is exactly the scene in Iowa and across the midwest in late summer. The sweet corn is ready to eat, and the hay has been baled. The weather is hot and humid and ripe with possibilities. Beautiful harvest colors create this cornfield and hayfield complete with barn and silos. And don’t forget the ditch tiger lilies that are always present! Hmmm. I wonder if there’s any baseball players in that field??
