I saw a beautiful photo and knew I had to get permission from the photographer to paint it. Lucky for me she said yes!
I LOVE COLOR! And this painting I got to really play around and have some fun. Beautifully peaceful and warm, the subject was a little lake in Australia captured on the photographer’s way to work. Golden sunny yellows, blue skies and colorful clouds reflect on the calm surface of the lake. In the forefront are bright Purple Loosestrife flowers bursting along their stems.
